This tutorial will guide you through installation and configuration of Lintrack, a GNU/Linux distribution specialized in networking tasks. We will give two LANs access to the internet along with DHCP and DNS cache servers, and then we will connect our networks using OpenVPN in bridging mode. You should be running all these in well under an hour, thanks to the unified configuration interface of Lintrack.

Lintrack is an open source operating system for computer network routers. It is based on Linux and integrates almost 150 open source software projects in one seamless administration system. Such high level of integration enables many unique features developed by our team exclusively for Lintrack and reduces network infrastructure maintenance costs.
Our system, while providing high-level administration interface, is still a common GNU/Linux distribution and an open source project supported by the community. Lintrack comes with great traditional system administration tools like ssh and vim, thus enabling possibilities of successive deployments and integration with existing software systems.
